I was regular traveller of the 8.25 morning local from Vasai to Churchgate. I had a group in the 2nd class compartment just besides the second first class compartment. Like ours there were various groups in the same compartment. This is the story of the group which used to sit just besides ours. One day the members of the other group were fighting with one Amit that why does he bully the other passengers and whether he has forgotten the past experience. It was loud enough to be heard by everyone in the compartment. I was curious to know and asked my group member what he is referring to. He said he will tell me later. Then one day when we had gathered at my home he told me about the incidence, which I am going to narrate you. This one seems like directly lifted from a Hindi Action Film

This is how the story goes.

This Vasai Local while returning to vasai used to be a slow local from Borivali, unlike now. Currently it is a fast local from Borivali which directly comes to Vasai. Since it was a slow local, people use to get on the train from Bhayander and Naigaon to reserve the places for their groups. Amit and a few of his group members use to get on the train from Naigaon and use to occupy the window seats. One day a boy sat on their place ahead of them. So Amit politely requested him to sit elsewhere as the compartment will get empty  before Vasai Station comes. That boy did not accept and said he would not get up from the seat. This angered amit. There was a heated arguement between the two and the fellow group members. The boy was speaking in Hindi and was uptodate wearing a white shirt, black pant and blue tie. As Vasai station was approaching Amit lost his cool and slapped the boy. Everybody was shocked. The boy started abusing them in Marathi. This group was also of Marathi people only. Amit felt sorry for that guy and told him that he didn't knew that he was Marathi and said sorry as well. The boy said that it was his b'day that day and he was going for an interview. As soon as train stopped on the Vasai platform the group members came in. Everything looked to settled that day. Nobody said a word to that boy throughout the journey that day and he sat on the same seat till Charni Road.

Two of the aged people from Amit's group used to board the train from Bhayander. The next day they saw 10-12 people looking like goons boarding the train. They also saw the same boy boarding with them. He and the others looked at the groups seats and sat down. The two elderly people knew that something is gonna happen today. Train stopped at Naigaon station and the usual passengers got on board, Amit being one them. Strangely that boy got down from the train at Naigaon station. Trains stopped and started the journey towards Vasai.

As soon as the train left the Naigaon platform, the 10-12 people suddenly came near Amit and started beating him left right and centre without uttering a word. They were beating him like anything. Two or three of them stood besides the crowd and told everyone other in the compartment not to interfere. The others who were beating Amit, started pulling him towards the door. Amit was a tough guy, well built. He came to know what there intentions were and catching hold of everything that was coming near his hands. These people were still pulling him towards the door and were successful. As soon as they reached the door, Amit grapped the pole in the door and wrapped both his hands around it as if he was hugging somebody. He knew that Vasai station was near and he should hold on for a min or so. The group tried desperately to seperate him from the pole, but Amit had hugged it very tightly. Luckily the train had reached Vasai and slowed down to change the tracks. As soon as the compartment reached the platform of Vasai, the group ran got down the train and ran away.

The people on the train rushed to Amit and saw him in blood. He had been beaten up badly and the blood was oozing from his nose, teeth, head. His clothes were soaked with blood. Just then the group members from Vasai entered and were surprised to see Amit's condition. Their leader Avinash, was told about the incidence. Avinash and few of the guys suddenly started running towards the direction in which the group had ran. They frantically searched for the people but couldn't find any.

After that incidence, this local was made fast from Borivali to Vasai.
