Oh dear, the bartender is an assassin himself. He is not a hero, neither are the other two characters. All three are normal characters. If there is a movie made, I would prefer totally unknown faces.
The whole pattern of developing the two characters is to increase the shock value. I deliberately did not develop the third character. Now that I think, it does seem bollywoodish but since the whole story does not contain a single hero act, it should have come out different. Apparently, it did not... |

This is the way of Dons, "Gundas" etc behave in their area.
4. Hawkers:
Govt is acting and demarking some areas for hawkers and then this problem will be solved. Hawkers as such are not a problem but the way of their operation (being unorganised) is a problem. That can be solved by proper policies.
5 Taxi Drivers:
Driving licence issued anywhere in India is valid all over India so a taxi driver need not have a permanent address of Mumbai.
Allowing only those people who have permanent address in mumbai to drive taxi is not practical. They get the permit on their current corresponding address
I don't find anything objectionable in this |

Hi Snehal,
I still don't agree with Raj, let me give you my point of view
1. Regarding railway jobs: You say there is something fishy in recruitment and hence less number of marathi people are there in govt jobs. I feel mumbai has more job opportunities and hence people do not prefer govt jobs.
I feel more tahn 50-60% of people in northern India (including UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana) prefer govt job while I found that this percentage in maharashtra is hardly 10-15%. And this is the reason for less representation of marathi people in govt jobs.
Let me tell you my example...
I joined MTNL Mumbai in 2004...I was posted in Mumbai (although I opted for Delhi)....the first question which I was asked when I entered the office was "How much did you pay to get this job" and "Do you people get Question paper few days before exam" and this was not with me but with all 54 of us who joined in that batch.
Out of 54 only 3-4 were from Maharashtra and that was because people from Maharashtra... |

don't prefer govt jobs.
Later people like Raj come and say Marathi people are not getting govt jobs, he don't tell weather Marathi people are getting better jobs tahn those govt jobs.
2. Crime Graph:
Yes I do agree that people from UP & Bihar also commit crime but they are not the only one. Accused in "Marine drive rape case", "Navi Mumbai rape case" "Juhu Molestation case" etc were all Marathi's. In my view crime is not in genes.
Poverty is one of the main reason. When a person is not able to satisfy his basic need he commits crime. By saying this I do not condone the crimes but I wish to say that driving them out of mumbai and any other such action is not going to help.
3. AB:
Although the version you have given is the first time I have ever heard. (This is not even supported by the later actions of Raj against AB).
Feeling proud of ones roots is good but feeling proud in such a way that all others are weed which need to be removed is in no way appreciated. ....... |
